I can't believe it, but yes there are. K-9 power being one of them. There are also canine nutritional specialists who can make a proper diet for your dog. Just type it into any search engine to find out more information on the subject. Almost anything you can find for a human, you can find for a dog now.

Dog food is sufficiently high in protein that they do not need protein shake supplements. If they aren't getting enough protein, get dog food with more meat and less grain.

You can find a wide variety of protein shakes for dogs at most pet stores, both retail and online. Like similar products for humans, these shakes come in a powder form which can be mixed in with either canned dog food or moistened dry food and then fed to the dog.

Dogs do not need protein shakes. If your dog isn't metabolizing nutrients, the vet will recommend dietary supplements. Feed your dog a consistent diet of quality dry food without canned food or table scraps. Commercial dog food offers a perfectly balanced diet. Dogs do not have the capacity to foul up their nutritional status; humans are responsible for that.

There are protein powders that can be made into protein shakes for dogs. They are very similar to the protein powders one would buy in a GNC store. As for already made protein shakes for dogs, I have not come across any.

What if your dog has stopped eating and your vet recommends you syringe feed them? Protein should help then, right?
