Question by  mocha (48)

Do you know how to get calcium out of my swimming pool?

Answer by  adriennedanger (21)

The quickest and easiest way to get rid of high calcium levels would be to drain the pool half way, then replenish it with fresh water and balance the chemicals. If calcium build up has already ocured, mix 2 parts muriatic acid with 1 part water and scrub the affected areas to remove any build up.

most light deposits can be removed by using a diluted solution of muratic acid. The product can be purchased at most pool supply stores. Protective gloves and clothing will lower the risk of burns while using the product. Apply the dilution to the deposits and scrub with a brush.
