Do you know how much to tip for manicure and pedicure?

What is customary tipping at the salon?

Answer by  Jack56 (408)

Tipping experts recommend between ten and twenty percent, for either a manicure or a pedicure. It really depends, on the manicurist's quality of work, level of attentiveness, professionalism and overall experience. If a manicure costs $15 dollars, and the service was great, then tip them $3 dollars.

It's best to tip based on the price of the treatment. Fiteen percent is adaquate, also tip based on service if its a salon you like then tip well.

Tipping for treatments such as manicures and pedicures at salons usually is between ten to twenty percent of the total bill. I always tip towards the high side for a job well done. I always try to leave the tip in cash if I have it available as normally I would pay with credit card.

One should tip between 15 percent to 20 percent range for a manicure and pedicure normally; If your service was truly outstanding, tip more.
