Do you have to color your hair to cover grey hair?

Instead of coloring your hair to make your grey hair match the rest, you might try getting highlights. Some subtle highlights (it doesn't have to be wide, blonde streaks) will disguise the presence of the grey. I have a friend who has been doing this for years.

You could get highlights if you don't want to color your whole head. Eventually that won't be able to keep up with the greys.

If you are not bothered by the grey you don't have to color it at all. If it bothers you, it would probably be best to color it all.

You can braid your hair to cover grey hair, or do a jelly lock, if a woman, or just go ahead and do a temporary color
