Do you have a recipe for a homemade degreaser?

I think home made anything is better.

Basic dish soap is the best degreaser around. Use it full strength to remove spots on clothes, as a pre-wash stain treatment, or on grease spots on the stove. Sudsing ammonia is another basic degreaser. Dilute with water and never combine with bleach as the fumes really can kill you. Be sure to rinse really well.

Baby powder or talc is the best degreaser for clothing. If you spill oil on your clothes, immediately cover the spot in baby powder and let it sit. The powder draws the grease from the fabric. This won't work if you let the grease sit for too long. Wash in cold water so you don't set the stain.

I use vinegar to clean pretty much everything. I usually dilute the vinegar with water so that it is 50/50. You can also add a drop of tea tree oil which is has natural antibacterial properties.

For degreasing surfaces such as stoves, ovens, counter tops, mix vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice. This cleans most things in the home, kitchen and bathroom. For ovens, add a little dawn dish washing detergent or tide laundry detergent to the above recipe. For grease stains in clothes, pre treat with baking soda.

Combine lemon juice, ammonia, and hot water. Use 6 parts water to 2 parts lemon juice to 1 part ammonia. You'll want to rinse whatever you're washing after you wash it.
