I sometimes watch golf on TV. Usually the final round of a championship, and only if Tiger Woods or some other interesting golfer is in the hunt. Special events like the Skins game or celebrity event will get me to watch the entire match.
I have watched golf. Personally, it's like watching paint dry. I prefer to play gold instead. I used to think golf wasn't really a sport. More like, men in ugly pants, walking. But it really does require skill. The whispering bothers me though.
i think it can be boring if you are expecting something like hockey or basketball... but golf is a mental game. if you sit back, relax, and get into the minutia and nuance, i find it can be pretty entertaining.
No, I think it is boring to watch in person or on tv. I don't understand the game maybe, but it is a slow moving game and I guess I feel I have better things to do than sit and watch someone put-put thier day away.
