None that have been reported, but as with anything that is mass produced, there are going to be some that are not built correctly.

Vizio plasma televisions have a great picture that is clear and crisp. I have seen a 52 inch Vizio and thought it was great.

Vizio is a fantasic brand, and produces high-quality sets. Remember that while plasma TVs look better, they have a set hour-life. So if you plan on keeping your TV for a long time (10 years), be sure to look at the life of it. Anything with 10,000+ hour life should be fine.

Vizio televisions occasionally suffer from signal interuption. The plasma also has a tendency to leave shadows on the screen when you turn off the set.

As a proud owner of a Vizio plasma television, I can happily say that I have had no trouble with this excellent television. I only heard about the company last year, and everyone had been raving about their products. I have heard of very few defects or unsatisfied customers.

The most common problem I have found, is that there is a power problem. The television either won't turn on at all, or turns on but with a black screen. There have also been reports of lines through the screen, bright spots, and trouble with Vizio customer service.

Plasma Tv's use 4x as much energy as a older TV so they tend to wear out more quickly. Also video games can burn into the screen.
