The Japanese use a currency called yen. Like the American dollar, it comes in various denominations, including coins and paper money. There are one to five hundred yen coins, and fifty to 10000 yen banknotes.

Being retired from the united states army after 27 years as a Colonel, this is a easy one.,Japanese papeer money is called Washi,at least when i was in the army anyways.It was easy to use in japan when we was on rest and relaxation from the vietnam "war" for drinking in bars lol
