That totally depends of how you choose your second partner. It has a better chance of working because you can understand with whom you are comfortable to live and with whom you are not. That totally depends what you learn from your first marriage. If you learn rightly then there is better chance.

Marriages after the first have a declining chance of working. 2nd ones work out less, 3rd ones even more so, and much more than half of 4th marriages end in divorce. But this is probably due to the type of people doing this, not the act of marriage itself.

Sometimes that can be the case. If you married young and were not mature enough for marriage the first time maybe the second time around you will be more mature.
