Do rat droppings have white at the end of them?

Answer by  shastie (1601)

It is most likely snake poop, thats urine mixed with the poop. But there is a possibility it could be rat poop too.

This is not a typical characteristic of rat feces. It is possible that the droppings belong to another type of rodent or similar-sized animal. It is also possible that these droppings are from one specific rat or other animal with some kind of digestive system affliction.

These droppings are most likely lizard droppings and they are colored this way because lizards get rid of feces and urine through the same opening in the body. The white tip is caused by uric acid crystals.

Rat droppings are black/brown droppings. They are similiar to rabbit droppings. If you find them in your residence, look around in the cupboards to see if there are any disturbed containers and set traps if so. Rats droppings are nothing to ignore.

Yes, if they are allowed to lay around long enough they will turn white as they dry out. The ends turn white first as they are not as thick and loose their moisture first.
