Do moths eat wool?

Moths eat wool as well as fur and cotton. Although it's not the winged creatures who eat things - it's their larvae, caterpillars. They eat everything edible they can reach.

Most types of moths do not eat wool. In fact only one species of moth does and beyond that only the young eat clothes.
