The latter-day saints should wear spiritual wedding dresses. Not literal dresses but their actions and lifestyle should be as clean as the wedding dress. Also this is termed as being ready for bridegroom (Jesus Christ). The bible says that Jesus will come back for the church as it happens during the wedding ceremony.

Church members in good standing may attend a Mormon sealing ceremony, but couples are asked to keep the guest list small. Wedding dresses are allowed, but head coverings are not. Dresses must have long sleeves and high necklines. Any sheer material must be lined. Trains are not allowed in the temple, so the dress must either be train-less or bustled.
