Guinea Pigs do not hibernate, because unlike wild mammals they have a ready food supply all year long. They do not need to conserve energy in the winter, because food is always plentiful.

Guinea pigs do not hibernate. If they are sleeping excessively all of a sudden it may be a heart condition; you should take them to a vet for a checkup.

No, although they do like hidey holes sometimes. If you notice your pig sleeping/hiding a lot more than usual, take him to a vet; he might have a condition.

No guinea pigs do not hibernate. They don't have to conserve energy in the winter as food is alway plentiful. If you think your guinea pig is hibernating it is either dying or it is already dead. Be sure your guinea pig never gets loose and goes outdoors because if left outdoors your guinea pig will die of exposure.
