Yes, fitflops really do work! I bought a pair about a month ago because my flip flops were making my calves really sore. Now just about three or four weeks later my calves feel a lot better! They're really comfortable too, not to mention they come in a lot of colors!

Having used fitflops myself, I can speak from personal experience. No they do not work. They tend to hurt your feet and give you a back ache too. Now I suppose if you do enough regular walking, that alone will probably help you lose weight. However I would never rely on these to fully lose weight.

I think you need to get over it. There is no way these hurt your back or feet; They are like wearing a glove, whether they help you get fit or not.  add a comment

My podiatrist recommended them for my Plantar Fasciitis. I am to keep them on at home unless I'm sleeping or showering. I didn't know of the other claims to get you in shape, but they have relieved my foot pain. I love them.

Everyone seems so "catty" about these. I expect they are just "lazy" and thats why they think they dont work. I wore my mums before geting my own. I work out a lot anyway but they are so comfortable. People need to get a life!!! Enjoy, I do. x

I have heard form many people that thry do help get your legs in better shape. After wearing them for a while, you are suppost to really feel it in your legs. It seems like a lazy way to work out. Which is probably why they are appealing to so many people.

They feel pretty good on your feet, as they are more sturdy than regular flip-flops. They distribute your weight better on each sole as you step, so posture is probably better than it would be in a lot of shoes and maybe there is some toning of legs. But fitness and weight loss claims are haven't been demonstrated.

I've had mine for two months. I thought the "evidence" (advertising) at the store was impressive. Also, I think SELF magazine gave them a positive review. I wasn't sore after the first day, but I felt good. I wear them often as I can and I do seem to notice that I am in a bit better shape.

They advertise that they do. But you would probably have to wear nothing but them all the time. A good old fashion step exercise, will do great and you won't need to do this all day. Stair climbing is a great way to stretch your calves and you can get a cardio workout also.
