If ferrets are raised around other animals they should be fine with them. However, if you only introduce other animals to them when they are already adults, it could be a problem because they aren't used to them. Ferrets can get along very well especially with dogs if they are used to them.

If they are introduced early enough in life, ferrets are tolerant of other animals. They are more prone to spend time with other rodents but can be taught to interact with dogs and cats within the household.

Ferrets have been used for rodent control and extermination. There natural instinct is to hunt and kill mice, rats, rabbits, and other rodents. They are very friendly towards cats and dogs.

Ferrets tend to have a jealousy issue and will most likely attack any and all other animals they come in contact with.
