Do contract attorney's need liability insurance?

I want to know if my attorney should have liability insurance.

All attorneys should have malpractice insurance. Most bar associations require it, and it should be a concern if a lawyer does not have it. That being said, it only really matters if the lawyer commits malpractice. If you are certain that he is doing things properly, it doesn't matter.

Any professional should have liability insurance whether it's required by law or not. This is not necessarily to protect you but to protect the professional.
