You will have to talk to your dentist about what he usually uses and see what would be best if you need one. There are different types but the dentist will be able to make that decision of what kind would be best. They have a lab that he can talk to too.

Yes they do work. Cantilever bridges are no less stable than traditional dental bridges. Cantilever bridges can last up to ten years with proper oral hygiene. With no metal clasp needed to secure the bridge to the teeth; they are more pleasing in appeareance.

Well studies have proven inconstant result patterns with this type of bridge work but as with all dentistry you should consult an expert, Cantilever bridges are attached to one tooth only but other bridges are sometimes attached to two.

Cantilever dental bridges , the name itself suggests it all. cantilever bridge means that the bridge is supported only at one end, the other end of the bridge is left unsupported. These bridges do work in certain cases where the end from where the support is taken is pretty strong and the lenght of the bridge is not very long.

This works very well when the bridge can't be supported from two sides, ie, there is no tooth on the other side to support a bridge.
