Springtail bugs cannot bite and they are harmless to humans and animals. These insects are mistaken for fleas. Their appearance is small and they are usually huddled up together in large numbers. They like moist areas and will thrive where ever there is plenty of moisture. Springtail bugs eat mildew and some varieties of fungus and they will not harm.
