All dogs have the potential to bite. It is a defense mechanism for them. All dogs also have the potential to be trained to use biting as an absolute last resort. A Boxer is no more likely to bite than any other dog, unless you train him to.

Everyone tends to see the boxer dog as an aggressive dog but if it is treated with love, it will serve as a loyal companion. The dog may be prone to a violent nature only if threatened and irritated otherwise, it is as safe a pet as any other breed. This stereotypical image of the dog is wrecking its reputation.
