Try using various household insect killers. Spray on the stuff they are most likely to eat like flowers, and vegetables and fruits. Try different products if you are not noticing the results.

Chemical control involves spraying pyrethroids down into the burrow entrance. Try Carbaryl (Sevin) dust. They will always return the following year, no matter what you do. Best to leave alone.
