Question by  worker23 (9)

Could it be a power supply problem if I no longer have power to my mouse or monitor?

My mouse and monitor is no longer working with my computer, however my mainframe lights are on.

First of all check all the cables, then change the port (if you have an usb mouse). You can also try with another mouse or monitor.

No, your problem is not your power supply. Your monitor does not use your computer's supply. If you can hear the fan in your supply, it is working.

Yes it is most likely a power supply problem, although it could also be something wrong with the input and output devices of your computer. If your mainframe lights are still on then your power supply is not completely shot, it may just be overloaded.

No way. Its either the problem in your SMPS or else you have to restart your system. SMPS gives power to all the devices in your computer. If it gets fault then you may get such problems.
