Could child services be called for emotional abuse?

The things I've noticed are: Complete isolation, extremist religion being pushed upon child, etc.

You should report any abuses of a child. Emotional abuse can be worse than physical abuse. Religious abuse would be hard to prove. The complete isolation can devastate a child. People need to be around other people and have a nurturing environment to thrive.

Religion in itself is not abuse. For example, a Muslim girl starting to wear a head scarf is extreme to many, but it is not abuse. However, physical abuse and signs of physical abuse are actionable. For example, a girl hit for refusing to wear the scarf or being yelled at because she doesn't want to wear it IS abuse.

Yes, child services can be called, and they will investigate, but in cases like this abuse is very hard to prove.

Generally, no. Child Protective Services has a limited number of things they can intervene for - emotional abuse is very hard to prove; thus they are unlikely to do anything.
