Can you use your house electrical wiring for a television antenna?

I need to wire my television antenna, however I do not have any extra wiring, can I just use the wiring for my house?

I cannot use the electrical wiring in my house for a television antenae. This is because the wiring will come to life when the power switch is turned on and this can damage the television set. In addition, such connection will not serve the desired purpose since the antennae requires specialized cable and terminal.

Yes you can but the resistance rating for the wire will be different. It should still carry the signal although I'm not sure what the reception quality will be.

This will not work. First of all, if you are using live wiring, it is dangerous and the current will distort any signal. On top of that, the U. S. has moved to digital television, which requires a more advanced antenna to get a signal.
