If you are having problems when the truck gets hot and you are getting low power it sounds like you have a blown head gasket. You are going to want to look at the dipstick and make sure you dont have engine coolant mixed with oil on the stick.

Are you losing coolant? Chances are that your head gasket is blown. Thus, you don't have proper compression to all of your cylinders. Being you only have four, this would be very noticeable and you would lose a lot of power. I would start by checking that, and replace it if necessary.

This is going to be a ignition related issue. More than likely the coil is heating up and not completely combusting the fuel in the cylinder. You can pull a spark plug and see if it is black. Have the coil tested at an auto parts store.

Use a diagnostic machine. They are free of charge to use at a parts house. They will tell you what codes you are throwing and how to fix it.

This is an ignition related problem. The coil is heating up and not combusting the fuel in cylinder. Pull a spark plug out and see if it is black. What you need to do is take coil to a auto parts store so they can test it to if its defected or if you need a new one.
