Easiest way to do this would be to use two equals signs and a less than sign to produce this: ==> Alternatively, holding ALT, and typing 26 using your numberpad will produce this character: → You can find different variants on this character by using the Character Map application.

There are several methods to doing this. One is to click on insert>symbol, and choose the arrow pointing in the direction that you want it to point to, and the other is to use character map, which can be opened by starting run, then typing in 'charmap'. Choose the courier new font, and double click the arrow, and copy it.

Go to staet, programs, accessories, system tools, character map. Choose the font you want and then look for an arrow you want and click it and then click SELECT. Then click COPY. You can then paste the arrow in Microsoft Works or any other program you are using by using Ctrl V or by right clicking and selecting paste.

One way is to change your font to something such as "Wingdings" which has symbols. Another is to insert an icon of an arrow.

We can not type the arrow directly via key board. but we can insert the arrow via menus . go to insert menu then click the symbol option. In this , select symbol tab , then select the font option then select the arrow type you want. click insert button.
