You will need to download your books into itunes and make sure that you configure it to the AAC Encoder under advanced options. In your custom settings make sure your bit rate is 64kbs and channel is set to stereo with the option to optimize for voice. Your files fill be named. m4a; rename them. m4b.

Organize the book tracks into the appropriate chronological order. After you have done this, place the tracks onto a playlist with the title of the book as the list title. Sync your iPod and enjoy!

Treat them like a music file, put them in through iTunes, then stick them in a playlist like "books" to listen to them.

There are a few ways to load audiobooks to your iPod. The easiest and most common method is to simply navigate iTunes and download your favorite audiobooks. From there you should simply have to plug in and sync your iPod.
