Can you tell me how to install a throttle position sensor on an Acclaim?

Disconnect the battery. The Throttle position sensor sits on the throttle plate shaft. Using a torx screwdriver remove the three screws that hold it in place. pull straight off of the shaft. Disconnect the weather pack connector plug. Install the new throttle position on the shaft, put in the three screws, plug in wires. reconnect battery. idle car 2 minutes

Start by unhooking your battery. Then disassemble the intact so that you have access to the throttle body and the sensor. Unhook the sensor plugs and unbolt it from the throttle body being careful not to drop anything in the intake. Then just reverse the process.

Disconnect the battery and disconnect the TPS connector. Note the position of the TPS on the throttle body and then remove from the throttle body. Install the new TPS to the throttle body and try to position the same as the old one. Reconnect the TPS and Reconnect the battery.

The throttle posistion sensor on this simply srcews off after removing the wiring and clip. Screw new one in and replace clip and wiring.
