Try to relax and don't hurry too much. Take deep breaths and don't worry about pausing a little before your answers. Stay friendly and make eye contact.

One tip is to practice interviewing by recording yourself on a video camera. Have a friend give you a mock interview so that you can react to the person not the camera. Study the video to look for verbal issues or hand / body positioning issues. You can do this in a mirror if you don't have a camera.

The first thing to remember before going to an interview is your mental attitude. This begins with being content with your personal grooming and dress. Then, keep in mind that the person interviewing you is a person just like you with feelings just like you. Be polite and positive minded and always consider the other person's feelings before your own.

Confidence and belief in yourself is the key. You have to be able to talk about yourself confidently and listen carefully to the questions before answering. That way, you cannot make mistakes.
