Can you tell me how to connect a phone through the electrical system in my house?

You cannot connect the phone through the electrical system. There has to be a telephone connection with a special outlet for you to be connected. The electrical system is separate.

The white box which is called as the junction box would be connected to the electrical system in the house. Normally wiring done for the phone jack. The second and third lines are to be fixed properly.

There must be two doors in a NID,first is open for the customer and it having a phone jack inside it. Unplug that wire and plug it into your phone.
