Keep the phone vertical (i.e. you shouldn't be lying down). If you are indoors stay near a window on the highest level of the building. Avoid using while moving.

The best way to do this is to pay your cell phone bill on time every month. If you're struggling with the payments, contact your provider and see about working out a payment plan. If that works but they still disconnected your phone, tell them your bill has been paid.

It's simple!! Pay your cellphone bill ON TIME each month. If you do not pay your bill the cellphone carrier will disconnect the phone on you. If you can not afford it anymore you can buy out the remainder of the contract for around $200.

It might be getting disconnected because of poor reception. You could buy a signal booster to enhance the reception in the area you use the phone in.

Your cell phone gets disconnected because of various reasons. It might be a bad antenna, bad reception in that place. My advice, try to look for a place where you get full bars and you will not have this problem and also get a mobile signal booster.

To avoid getting your cell phone disconnected you must always charge battery to full. When battery will be 1-2% load only, not charge again but wait when phone shout down automatically. This make a better condition of phone. Other way you can not touch the phone in the place where is aerial.
