Can you tell me how to adjust automotive door gaps?

you could take off panel find the little dented part and hammer it out, but b4 goingthru all that work have you just made sure to see if the panel is alligned properly? sometimes you can just shift a panal to make it line up try that first

The professional way to get precise door gaps is to bot the door on and tweak it until the gaps are as close as they can get. They will still be a little uneven so the follow this up by laying body filler or new metal onto the edges. Then use sandpaper folded over cardboard to set the gaps.

there are 2 adjustments on the top and bottom. Loose all of them and start from the top and slowly tighten them while using a pry bar to apply pressure and leave about a quarter inch gap between the fender and the door.

Loosen the hinge bolts a little. Move the door as needed. An assistant will be helpful. Tighten the hinge bolts again.
