Can you take Lisinopril and Acetaminophen together?

I do not want to mix a deadly combination or overdose.

There is no known significant drug-drug interaction between the ACE inhibitor Lisinopril and pain reliever Acetaminophen (Tylenol). The important thing to keep in mind when taking a painkiller with an ACE inhibitor is that it is a non-aspirin product, as aspirin acts as a blood thinner and this combination could cause a problematic reaction.

There seems to be no interactions between the two, and no listed contraindications, but DO NOT take with Ibuprofen. To be safe, ask your pharmacist, they are well trained to know which drugs can be take together, information your doctor may not have the time to know. You should be fine, particularly if your lisinopril is 5 mgs.

Lisinopril and Acetaminophen do not have any listed interactions, but one should always consult their pharmacist and/or doctor when taking medications, this is especially true when one medication is available over the counter as acetaminophen is. Remember to take only the prescribed amount of Lisinopril and no more than 1 and a half tablets of acetaminophen.
