A website called enchanted learning has many projects for ocean creatures. You can make cards, hand pupplets and have a show. I would any time you do a project with a theme, use words so they can learn what the name of the creature is.

Seashells glued onto a picture frame for a quick gift project. Also, they can trace their hand to make starfish. Fish stickers on a blue paper background.

Have them create a simple mobile using a shoe box and pre-cut creatures for an under water motif. All they need are crayons and glue to construct the art project.
