If you find a co-signer for the new loan that will put you through college then you can still go.

You will need to make payments for six months to get the loan out of default and then once you start school, your loans will convert to in school status meaning that payment will not be required but interest will continue to accrue.

You can still go to college as long as you are able to pay for the classes yourself instead of getting a new student loan. The financial aid office would not be able to help you with new student loans if you are in serious default on the old ones.

You can still attend college if you save up and pay cash for it or if you are attending on scholarship. However, if you have defaulted on a student loan, you will probably not be able to get another student loan.

Yes, you may attend college. However, having a defaulted student loan may impact your ability to recieve financial aid to pay for college. Please check with the prospective college on how this may affect any aid package.
