I would not recommend a KJV bible for teens, or any young adult. This translation is very difficult to read, and there are many other translations that would better suit the needs of a teen. I would highly recommend the English Standard Version or the New International Version (but not Todays New International Version).

There is a study bible for teens that is called NIV teen study bible. It is easier to read compared to the KJV bible. It is written exactly like the KJV but it takes out the harder words and replaces them with words that are easier to understand.

The Axis Bible is a good King James Version study Bible that is geared toward teenagers. It has an introduction for each section, and explains difficult words or concepts. It also has a section that highlights information about the major characters of the Bible, as well as timelines that connect Bible events with other events in history.
