It appears most of the deals available on BookCloseOuts are over 50% off. I searched the book "13 Little Blue Envelopes" on BookCloseOuts, noting it was $4.99 new. Amazon had the book new for 13.99. You could buy a copy for a cheaper price (less than a dollar) only used.

I would have to say that most people prefer sites such as Amazon because they provide free shipping programs. Shipping is a huge cost of internet shopping and Amazon's program saves a lot of money.
