Can you provide me with a list of options if I am being charged the incorrect finance charges by two different credit card companies?

I have called numerous times and no solution has solved the problems on both charge cards. I have also seen someone at consumer credit counseling services and Tammie said that I should tell Attorney General Consumer Fraud Division, which I have and am waiting for the papers from them

File with the AG's office. Write a registered letter to both lenders. (You have probably spoken to a series of CS reps with no incentive to follow-up. ) State your understanding of what the rate should be. Ask for an explanation of why it isn't. Cc: the AG on the letter.

How do you know the finance charge is incorrect? The rate you were given when you opened the card is subject to change if you're late with a payment, the account is over the limit or you paid less that the amount due. Make sure this is not the case.

Demand in writing a full list of the debt and all fees they are adding to the debt. This is required in law per the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act. You can refuse to pay the debt until they prove what you owe, in writing.

Want finance charges on Bank of America to only be 7. 24% on Purchases an credits related, no cash advance shown, it never happened. And on Chase Credit card to have 0% finance charge with the promotional checks I used for a total of $5345. 00. Had credit limit of $5500. 00.
