Question by  Maxina (1)

Can you help me troubleshoot the driver's window on my 2003 Aztek?

I can hear the motor running inside the door but the window won't go up.

It sounds as if the window glass has slipped off the track inside, or possibly a gear has stripped out. If you remove the interior door panel, you should be able to find out for sure.

Either the cable inside the door has snapped, or the nylon bearings in the window motor have been damaged to the point where they are no longer functional.

it sounds like the cables that run the regulator are broken. when the cable breaks, the window will no longer go up or down. they are available to buy so you can replace regulator.
