Most cars have a tendency to over-heat due to either a fluid leak(just check underneath your car) or if there is no leak it can be deduced to a bad thermostat or the radiator core is clogged. Try purchasing a radiator flush kit. If the flush doesn't work it's more than likely the thermostat.

Check and change the thermostat. Make sure that all of the hoses are good and that you have the correct mixture of antifreeze and water.

Check the radiator's coolant. When the engine is cool, remove the cap. You should see fluid inside the radiator.Check the overflow tank and the tube between the tank and radiator.
