Can you have a litter box for a dog?

It's possible to buy "potty training mats" for puppies and train them to use these; they don't take quite so easily to a litter tray. It is defiantly possible to train them to go to the toilet in one spot and one spot only.

Yes. I used newspaper (without box) and Velvita cheese. Keep cheese next to newspaper; lst thing in the morning put dog on the paper till he goes--then I rewar using Velvita. Dog becomes paper trained, you can take dog with newspaper anywhere--if you put down paper, he'll make on command!

There is a new "grass" litter box on the market for dogs. It seems to work great and got great reviews. It comes in various sizes and can be used indoors and outdoors. Some even come with a plastic fire hydrant for male dogs.
