Can you give me some tips for how to pack a suitcase?

I'd like to limit myself to one bag for a two-week trip.

Avoid bulky clothes and heavy items. Concentrate on a basic color group (example, all blue/gray) so you can mix and match. Take clothes that wash and dry quickly and without wrinkles. Put heavy items on the bottom. Stuff small items (socks) into shoes. Wear stuff (sweater) that doesn't pack well.

Lay out an outfit for every day of the trip, including accessories, underwear, and shoes. Pack in outfits so you don't have to search for all the parts every time you change. Bring sweater and a pair of shorts. Don't forget the swimsuit. Use a bathroom bag for your toiletries and put it in your carry on style bag.

"roll" the cloths don't fold;that will prevent wrinkles. Large bags that are water proof can be a life saver to put cloths in, plus they help seperate the clean from the dirty. Pack a small amount of laudry soap and do laundry in the sink and air dry.

First, review the items you are bringing for necessity. If flying, consider leaving all toiletries and simply buy travel-size when you arrive. You can bring a shirt for each day, but reuse pants and bring shoes that go with several outfits. Finally, roll clothes rather than folding to save space.
