iPaq pocket software has been shown to be reliable, but seems to be a bit slower then the competition. The cause might be a slower hardware.

The iPaq 3835 runs Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 which is now looking very long in the tooth. Compared to even the most basic smartphones now available, it lacks features and is 'clunky' in operation. Nevertheless, if you just want to do basic PIM tasks, it should work well.
