Yes, it is possible to transmit many forms of conjunctivitus from person to animal and visa versa. The only way to know for sure is to see a physician.

Traditionally pink eye can be caused by any irritant, virus, or bacteria introduced to the eye. If an animal has an eye infection it is possible a person could also get an infection if infected material is transferred to the human's eye. The most common cause of pink eye is not washing your hands after touching a variety of substances.
