Some women can feel when they are ovulating. They can feel like a little pinch or pain in the ovary of whichever side is releasing the egg. It is different from menstrual cramps. Ovulation tests are pretty accurate. They are measuring a specific hormone to see if you are getting ready to release an egg.

Most people cannot feel when they are ovulating. Some people say they can feel a sensation where there cervix is. There are special thermometers to check to see if you are ovulating, because your temp goes up when you ovulate. The ovulation tests are pretty accurate in predicting when you are ready to conceive.
