Can you buy a kid's remote that will only go to certain channels?

Actually, parental controls are programmed into your tv rather than your remote control. Just get out your tv's manual and read the instructions on how to program the parental controls into your set.

There is a remote for kids called Weemote Remote. I cost anywhere between 20.00 and 30.00 dollars. You are able to program the channels you want for the children, the other channels will be blocked. It is easy for the children to operate and has bright colors that are appeling to children. It can be used on analog and digital.

As much as parents wish they would sell a device like that - it's not possible. However there are parental controls on new models of TV's that you can edit to respond with program ratings. If the rating for a show is too high then the show is blocked for its airing period.

No, but there is a way to block certain channels through the TV, and then ways to turn the filter off when you want to watch other channels.

If you have Satellite television you can actually block certain channels that you do not want your children to watch. All you do is go to the channels you don't want them to watch, block them and then make up a password. You need the password in order to get into the channels.

You can buy a universal remote and then set it to go to the chanels you want the remote to be used to view, and block the other chanels with a Pin base. But generally you will not fine kid's remote for any kind of Tv unless you set the restrictions yourself.

No, but you can get a v-chip that will lock out anything that is not ok for children to watch. I really wish I knew more about v-chips so I could be of more assistance.
