Can my thyroid be off if my blood tests are normal?

I am convinced my thyroid is not normal but my blood tests are normal.

Well, it can be off but it can also be normal. I would go through the blood tests. If not just eat right and see what happens. Go do yoga as well.

I would ask exactly what was tested. A basic thyroid test may not have tested all the hormones the thyroid makes. Some hormones tell the thyroid to make other hormones.

Yes, the established values are general levels but are not always exclusive for you. You may have what is called sub-clinical thyroid problems. Talk with your MD or Endocrinologist.

If the result of your ESR and other routine blood tests are normal, there are chances of getting your problem cured. But you cannot say that it is fully cured.

I come from a long line of thyroid problems and I have learned if you think there is something wrong with it make the doctor check they have a test they can do just for thyroid.

Your thyroid is one of the largest endocrine glands in our body, some symptoms of thyroid level is off are tiredness, high or low blood pressuer. weight loss and weight gain. If you feel something is going on it could be your thyroid or something diffrent going on check with your doctor ask for more test. I hope this helps.
