Can my dog have a seizure in his lower jaw?

Dogs can have grand mal seizures that affect their whole body or a focal seizure where only one area of the body (such as the lower jaw) is affected.

Although most people don't notice seizures unless they are full blown tonic-clonic seizures, dogs can get partial seizures too. This is when only part of the brain is affected by the seizure. If the part that is affected by the seizure controls the jaw, you will see the activity there.
