Can I use sugar as an exfoliant?

I have heard that sugar is good for this.

Absolutely, yes. The granules are rough enough to easily remove dead skin cells but not so large that they'll tear up your skin. With the high price of designer exfoliants on the market today, it may also be a pocket-friendly choice for your weekly skin care ritual.

Yes you absolutely can. It is a great exfoliant. Mix it with something like an avocado, to create a mask, or just plain facial soap will do for a quick exfoliation. Make sure to rinse the sugar off of your face since it can leave a residue on your skin.

Sugar is a great exfoliant! Just be sure not to use it on really sensitive areas. Salt works too, but if you have cuts or irritated skin it can burn.

Sugar is a very good natural exfoliant for the skin. The best type of sugar for exfoliating is natural, raw sugar, because it is in larger crystals and is rougher than regular refined sugar. Simply rub the sugar over your wet skin and rinse thoroughly, and your skin will be much more smooth and soft.
