The main issue most people have with the iPAQ is that it's non-upgradeable. Unfortunately, these people are misinformed, because you can indeed upgrade the iPAQ.

Mostly we use an HP to upgrade the iPAQ.We can also upgrade the iPAQ 3835 by using the wireless properties.This iPAQ can be upgraded to windows pc 2003.

Yes you can, any model after the 3800 series of the iPaq's can be upgraded to Windows Pocket PC 2003.
