Yes. Play A440 on the piano and try to match the tone with the saxophone. If you are flat shorten the mouthpiece and lengthen it if you're sharp.

Absolutely. By turning the sax with the piano, you can play a duet with the piano. Be aware that a C on the piano is an A on the sax.

If it is an alto saxophone or a baritone sax, then you would play an 'A' while the piano is playing a 'C'. If it is a soprano sax or a tenor sax, then you would play a 'D' while the piano is playing a 'C'. Then you can tune the instruments when the notes sound the same.

@technogeek. I have a soprano sax, when i play "C" , it gives me "A" on the piano not "D". Does soprano sax have this type also? thanx  add a comment

If the piano is a little flat, you can pull out the top joint of the sax a little to make it play lower register. Just be careful...

yes, But you have to have a good ear. Play a tone on the piano and match the sax with the same tone on the sax. adjust the mouth piece and when it sounds right and not flat or sharp then you got it. Try it and see how it works
